Approach from the M56.

Travel along the M56 until it splits. You then need to follow the signs for Manchester City Centre - the A5103 (known as the Princess Parkway). This will appear to be a continuation of the motorway but forms a dual carriageway. At the roundabout, at the end, carry straight on heading for Manchester City Centre.

At the first set of traffic lights carry straight on. At the second set of lights (filter lights) turn right.


Carry on along the road and it will lead you to another crossroads where McDonalds will be on your right. You need to carry straight on and stay in the left-hand lane when coming onto Portland Street. On coming onto Portland Street you should be able to see Portland Tower from the crossroads.

A the next set of lights carry straight on. When you reach the next set of lights you will be outside Portland Tower. Parking is available in the Chorlton Street National Car Park to the rear of the building.

Approach from the M67.

Come off the Motorway at the junction sign posted for A57 - Manchester City Centre. Follow the A57 for about 10 miles heading for the city centre, eventually you'll come to a roundabout which you need to go straight on.

At the first set of lights you need to go straight on, you'll then go under the Mancuian Way at the next set of lights go straight on. You'll pass the large BT building which will be on you right-hand side. At the cross roads you need to go straight on, try and get into the left-hand lane.

At the next set of lights all traffic has to turn left follow the road round. Just after the pedestrian crossing you will need to move into the left-hand lane straight away. On your left-hand side there is a side street this is before the large hoardings, which you need to turn down. Carry on to the end of the road where you meet Portland Street turn left here.

Carry on along the road for about 200 yards and you will see Portland Tower on your right-hand side. If you are wanting to park near the building you need to turn left just before the Yates Wine Lodge which is adjacent to Portland Tower. There is an National Car Park, just on your right-hand side.
